A trust request is initiated by a provider-admin. A provider-admin can add a user/group/department/project/community to the trust tab.
In [provider] > settings (gear icon) > Trust (tab)
select one of the following sub-tabs (entities):
User access
Group access
Department access
Organization access
Project access
Community access
Then, from the drop-down menu Add [entity]
select the name of the entity for which you would like to gain access to and click on OK
.
The status of the trust request is now pending until the admin of the respective entity changes the status in their settings.
